Genshin Impact fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated 4.1 update, which promises new chapters, characters, banners, events, and world bosses. This update continues the main story of Hoyoverse’s acclaimed anime game and brings exciting new elements to the game.

The 4.1 update revolves around the Traveler and Paimon being incarcerated in the Fortress of Meropide, an underwater prison in the Genshin Impact Fontaine region. However, they are undercover and continuing their investigation into the serial disappearances of young women introduced in the previous 4.0 update.

The release date for Genshin Impact 4.1 is set for Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The game follows a six-week update schedule, so players can expect the 4.1 update to conclude on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

The Genshin Impact 4.1 livestream, which aired on Friday, September 15, 2023, provided fans with details about the update and celebrated the game’s third-year anniversary. The livestream included information about Genshin Impact codes, craft and food recipes for players to try, as well as statistics showcasing the game’s growth since its launch.

One of the highlights of the 4.1 update is the introduction of new characters. The two new characters in Genshin Impact 4.1 are Neuvillette, the Chief Justice of Fontaine, and Wriothesley, the Duke of the Fortress. Neuvillette wields hydro powers and can generate Sourcewater Droplets to regenerate his health. Wriothesley, on the other hand, excels in combat and offers double the output of weapon ascension materials when crafting.

The 4.1 update also features new banners, allowing players to obtain these new characters. The banners for the 4.1 update include Neuvillette and Hu Tao in phase one, followed by Wriothesley and Venti in phase two. The banners also include boosted rates for three four-star characters, though these characters are yet to be confirmed.

In addition to new characters and banners, the 4.1 update introduces various events for players to participate in. These events include Waterborne Poetry, Dodoco’s Bomb-Tastic Adventure, Radiant Harvest, and The Peaks and Troughs of Life. Each event offers unique challenges and rewards that players can enjoy.

Lastly, the 4.1 update brings new bosses to challenge. The Millennial Pearl Seahorse and the Experimental Field Generator are two new world bosses that players can encounter. Defeating these bosses will reward players with valuable level-up materials for characters like Wriothesley and Neuvillette.

As the release date approaches, Genshin Impact players can look forward to diving into the exciting new content that the 4.1 update has to offer. With new characters, events, and bosses, there will be plenty for players to explore and enjoy in the world of Genshin Impact.
