Apple may not hold an event in October due to a lack of new products and features to unveil, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. On The MacRumors Show podcast, Gurman stated that there will be no new iPad models introduced at Apple’s “Wonderlust” event next week, which is expected to focus on next-generation Apple Watches and iPhones only. However, he mentioned that a new iPad Air with improved specifications is in the works and could be released “soonish.” Gurman expressed skepticism about an entire event taking place in October to introduce new devices, suggesting that Apple could announce them via press release and a short video, similar to the M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro models earlier this year. He also mentioned that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple will not release new MacBook models with M3 chips before the end of this year, contradicting previous expectations for an October event.
