Capcom has announced that the popular video game “Resident Evil Village” will be released for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPad on October 30. The announcement came during the Tokyo Game Show, and the game is now available for pre-order on the iOS App Store.

“Resident Evil Village” is a highly anticipated installment in the long-running “Resident Evil” series. The game is set in a mysterious village filled with creatures of the night and features intense combat and exploration. It has received widespread acclaim for its stunning visuals, immersive gameplay, and thrilling storyline.

The mobile ports of “Resident Evil 4 Remake” and “Resident Evil Village” will be free to start, but players will need to make in-app purchases of $59.99 and $39.99, respectively, to unlock the full experience. The games will support on-screen controls, game controllers, multi-touch, HDR, and more, providing players with multiple options for gameplay.

The announcement of the mobile port of “Resident Evil Village” comes after Apple’s recent announcement of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. These new devices are powered by the A17 Pro chip, which features a brand new GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. This allows console games like “Resident Evil Village” to be played on the iPhone with near-equivalent performance to a gaming console.

In addition to the iPhone 15 Pro, the game will also be available on iPads. The iPad version of “Resident Evil Village” will be compatible with both the M1 and M2 iPad models. This means that players will be able to experience the full horror-filled adventure on their iPads, with support for the latest hardware enhancements.

It’s worth noting that “Resident Evil Village” is already available on macOS, but the iOS and iPadOS versions will be independent purchases. However, “Resident Evil 4 Remake” will have cross-progression on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, allowing players to continue their game progress across different devices.

With the release of “Resident Evil Village” on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPad, Capcom is bringing a highly acclaimed and immersive gaming experience to mobile devices. Fans of the “Resident Evil” series can look forward to enjoying the intense gameplay and terrifying atmosphere of the game on their handheld devices.
