The Possibility of an Apple October Event in 2023
Apple is known for its annual lineup of events, showcasing new products and exciting updates. However, this year seems to be different as there are rumors suggesting that there won’t be another fall event in 2023. According to Mark Gurman, a reputable Apple analyst from Bloomberg, the lack of new products and features makes it unlikely for Apple to justify holding an October event.
Typically, Apple organizes up to four events per year. These include a spring event, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, a fall event focused on the iPhone, and a fourth fall event that usually highlights new Mac and iPad releases. However, it appears that major new iPad and Mac launches are not expected until 2024. During Apple’s August earnings call, CFO Luca Maestri mentioned that Mac and iPad revenue is expected to drop double digits.
