First iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Orders Arriving to Customers in Australia and New Zealand

by Maine Bacos

Customers in New Zealand and Australia who pre-ordered the latest Apple devices, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, or AirPods Pro with USB-C case, are starting to receive their devices. This is because it is already September 22 in those countries and they are always the first to get new Apple releases as there are no Apple retail locations in New Zealand.

Apple fans in New Zealand and Australia have taken to social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and the MacRumors forums to share their photos and first impressions of the new iPhone models. If you are one of the lucky ones who have received your new iPhone, make sure to share your pictures and first impressions.

While customers in these countries have the advantage of receiving their devices first, availability in-store in Australia can provide insight into what to expect in Apple Stores worldwide. It will give an idea of the stock levels and the popularity of certain models.

During the pre-order period, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models quickly sold out. As a result, orders placed now from Apple’s online store will not ship until late October or even November for some devices. However, the standard iPhone 15 models are not as difficult to come by.

If you missed out on pre-orders, your only chance to get a new iPhone on launch day is by purchasing from an Apple Store or other authorized retailers like Target, Walmart, or Best Buy. While retail stores are expected to have stock, popular iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models could be in limited supply and may sell out quickly.

Following New Zealand and Australia, sales and deliveries of the new iPhone 15 models and Apple Watches will begin in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and finally, North America. Many Apple Stores across the globe will be opening early at around 8:00 a.m. local time to accommodate customers who have reserved devices or wish to make walk-in purchases.

For those who are eagerly awaiting the new devices, stay tuned to MacRumors for upcoming articles. They will be providing hands-on and unboxing experiences, in-depth exploration of the new devices’ features, camera comparisons, and more. The articles will be a comprehensive guide for anyone interested in purchasing the latest Apple products.
