Sharnbasva University signs MoU with Australia-based Manjrasoft

Sharnbasva University in Kalaburagi, India, has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., an Australia-based company specializing in cloud computing and big data. The MoU aims to promote collaborative research activities and projects in the fields of cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things (IoT), as well as facilitate a teachers exchange program between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed by Registrar Anilkumar Bidve, Dean Lakshmi Patil Maka, and Business Head India Operations of Manjrasoft, Ravikumar Challa. This represents a significant milestone for Sharnbasva University as it marks the first time the institution has signed an agreement with an international institute.

The main objective of this partnership is to establish an Aneka Cloud Computing Laboratory within the university. This laboratory will focus on the development of Industry 4.0 IoT applications, deploying cloud services, and building AI/Deep learning applications using the Aneka Cloud platform. Additionally, the MoU aims to standardize research and development activities in the field of cloud computing and facilitate the exchange of teaching staff to acquire new knowledge in emerging areas of engineering and technology.

According to the terms of the MoU, experts from Manjrasoft will guide the teaching staff and students of Sharnbasva University in research and academic activities related to cloud computing. Manjrasoft will provide guidance in setting up a lab using their Aneka Cloud Computing platform. The university will procure the necessary resources and software systems required from Manjrasoft. Moreover, Manjrasoft will offer short-term training and projects to postgraduate, undergraduate, and research students of the university.

The signing of this MoU has received much praise and support from key figures within Sharnbasva University and the wider community. The Chancellor of the university, Sharnbasaveshwar Samasthan Sharnbaswappa Appa, the Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Matoshree Dakshayini Avva, and the Secretary of the Sangha, Basavaraj Deshmukh, all congratulated the university for this significant collaboration.
